The theme of this posting is “BCI is whack-tastic.” Of course, Doc Brown in Back to the Future knew that too when Marty showed up at his house in 1955, but that didn’t stop him from asking him questions and trying to read his mind.
With this thesis on whack-tastic-ness, though, there are probably two things that need explaining: the first being that BCI stands for Brain-Computer Interface (hence, the Doc Brown connection), the second being that “whack-tastic” is the superlative of “whack,” i.e., interesting, crazy, elusive in its nature, etc.
