Recruiting people in your first assistant professor position

In my last article, I talked about the transition to an assistance professor position. Now, let’s assume you just got your faculty position. One key aspect of being successful is recruiting the right people into your lab. The first years are particularly crucial, since the tenure clock is ticking.
